From the house of Boadicea the Victorious: The azure chromatics of oceans are dazzling and Azrak, named for the Arabic word for blue is a hypnotic blue lullaby with hidden depths, inspired by oceans of cobalt, ultramarine, azure and turquoise waters. While Azrak is inspired by sea blues and sunlight on water it contains no references to the saline or aquatic aspect of the sea. A blue bottle, an encapsulation of colour, tonal shifts of oceanic chroma without reverting to cliched expectations. The top is a rush of green fruit: ripe pineapple and snapped foliage with a dash of lemon and a hint of animalic cassis. Cardamom, saffron and cinnamon add subtle spiciness. This tester is the same Eau de Parfum in plain tester packaging.
